One of the top events in the Southeast, the Dogwood Festival in Fayetteville, North Carolina, has grown to become a defining event for the area. Whether you are visiting for local and national musicians performing, arts and crafts vendors, or artists, this festival brings in a quarter million people every year. Many of these guests choose to stay close by at our hotel and we recommend booking in advance to secure your room. The festival’s philosophy is “Something for Everyone” and runs local events throughout the month of April.
The festival is named after the Dogwood Trail and Dogwood trees that dominate the cityscape. This annual tradition started 35 years ago and takes over downtown Fayetteville’s Festival Park and Hay Street. Attractions include:
Festival Park offers a main stage for performances, infrastructure for special event vendor booths, and grass lawn seating. Festival Park is also available for rent for your special event. Come out to enjoy the brilliance of the Fayetteville Dogwood Festival.
The free summer concert series Fayetteville After 5 also runs in Festival Park. Big concerts are hosted on Friday and Saturday nights in the park’s amphitheater. Join us for plenty of food trucks and free live performances in Festival Park. This event is presented in Partnership with R.A. Jeffreys – local distributer of Budweiser products.
